Large drawings of wire sculptures are produced in acrylics.

The translucent properties of wax used for modelling sculptures has always been a fascination. High quality beeswax and pigments are used for waterscapes and reflective paintings on hard wood.

Encaustic painting dates back to ancient Greece. They should be treated as watercolours – kept out of strong sunlight and not exposed to temperatures of over 100f.
